My name is Lisa Mechiel-Marcum.

I have lived in the bi-city area for the majority of my life.

I have always loved art and creating it and since my painting abilities are questionable at best, I picked up a camera about 10 years ago and as they say, the rest is history.

Most of my years in photography centered around shooting for my own pleasure.

It was not until my oldest son was a senior in High school and needing the traditional Senior Portaits (both of which are extremely expensive) did I seriously look at portrait photography.

Apparently everyone who saw them, liked them and I have been shooting professionally ever since.

My basic philosophy is that everyone wants and deserves classic, beautiful photographs but not everyone can spend a fortune on them, that is where I come in.

In the real world there are kids to take care of, bills to pay, and a million other things to worry about. Having photos of the most important events in your life, should not be one of them.
